It looks like the Lohan roller-coaster may have come to a full and unexpected stop yesterday and Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail for probation violations stemming from her alcohol counseling classes.
Lohan seemed shocked as the judge handed down her sentence but upon close inspection of her hands, seemed entirely defiant.
She may look to emulate Jennifer Lopez with her style and entrepreneurial spirit but Kim Kardashian may soon be closer to an Angelina Jolie. Although nothing has been confirmed, several media outlets are reporting that Kardashian is the lead candidate to play Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in the franchise’s next chapter.
“This will be something very different to Angelina’s Lara,” a source said.
“Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience.”
Kim began acting lessons in December and has expressed her interest in adding “actress” to her resume:
“I have so much going on but acting is definitely exciting to me. I’m hoping to do more TV and I would really love to make movies.”
She’s most recently been seen on CSI:NY, Beyond the Break and 2008’s Disaster Movie along with E! Reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami
Actress Rue McClanahan, best know for her role as Blanche Deveraux on Golden Girls, has died after suffering from a massive stroke this morning.
After days of speculation about his wife, Nick Cannon finally took to his Twitter page to address to whispers and “baby bump” watchers:
“If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally. Thanks for being respectful GodBless.”
Rumors began after pictures surfaced of Mimi leaving medical clinics in California and only intensified after she abruptly and unexpectedly dropped out of Tyler Perry’s project “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.” Carey garnered rave reviews in her last Tyler Perry project “Precious” and would have been working with talents like Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson, Phylicia Rashad and Loretta Devine
on her latest endeavor.
Carey’s longtime rep Cindi Berger gave a rather cryptic comment Thursday to Us Weekly Magazine:
“She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to,” Berger told Us Weekly. She then insisted to us that she could not “comment any further.”
