After years of investigation and scandal surrounding the Reggie Bush and O.J. Mayo eras at the school, the University of Southern California has chosen to return Bush’s 2005 Heisman Trophy as well as other memorabilia from the 2 stars:

The Trojan family honors and respects the USC sporting careers of those persons whose actions did not compromise their athletic program or the opportunities of future USC student-athletes. Accordingly, I have instructed the senior vice president for administration to remove athletic jerseys and murals displayed in recognition of O.J. Mayo and Reggie Bush by mid-August — before the incoming class of students moves on campus — from Heritage Hall, the Galen Center and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The university also will return Mr. Bush’s 2005 Heisman Trophy to the Heisman Trophy Trust in August.

ESPN.com is reporting that the New York/New Jersey area has been awarded the 2014 Super Bowl.

According to ESPN:

The official tag line of the New York/New Jersey bid was “Make Some History,” and it did. It will be the first open-air stadium in a cold-weather region to host a Super Bowl. In their official presentation to the owners, the representatives from the Giants and Jets highlighted some of the most memorable cold-weather games in history.

It could be the last cold play for a long time, as the league made this a one-time exemption to its 50-degree rule.

Before arriving at the New Meadowlands Stadium, the Super Bowl will be held in: Dallas (2011), Indianapolis (2012) and New Orleans (2013).
